It's been quite a while since I updated the news page so here goes. The Bird Fair at Rutland Water last August was a great success, I really enjoyed the 3 days and met lots of people interested in my photography and  old friends passing through. Sales were quite good too with large canvas prints of Albatross and other seabird prints being very popular, I also had a new range of greetings cards which sold well, I have booked to return to the Fair this coming August 21st-23rd, come and visit if you can. This winter I have been spending all of my photographic time in the UK ( still recovering from the cost of going to the Antarctic last year!) here in North Wales concentrating on wildfowl on the local estuaries, Brent Geese, Pintail, Widgeon and Teal, I have also made forays to the Ouse Washes for Bewicks and Whooper Swans and Martin Mere for Pink Footed Geese and Whooper Swans, some of these images I hope will be printed up for exhibition at the Bird Fair. Now that summer is not too far away I am looking forward to using my boat to access seabirds on their cliff colonies and the flocks of Manx Shearwaters which frequent the sea off the south coast of Anglesey, lots to look forward too!  I have also started giving talks, I have three subjects on offer 'A Passion for Wildfowl' ,looking at Wildfowl that I have photographed across the world on my travels to Alaska,Canada, Arctic Norway, UK, Australia and New Zealand ,  'The Ross Sea- A Journey to the Antarctic.  a look at the history and natural history of the sub Antarctic Islands and Antarctica and 'Filming Wildlife for Television', if you're interested in a talk give me a call.   See 'Talks on Wildlife' for more details.
