News & Events: Birdfair 2013 - 16-18th August
I have been going to the Birdfair at Rutland Water for several years, it's a great event with exhibitors and visitors from all over the world. There are several huge marquees full of all things to do with birds and bird watching; binoculars, telescopes and cameras; new and second hand books; travel companies from around the globe offering mouth watering trips; clothing and general equipment suppliers and of course the Art Marquee, packed full with the best of wildlife art and photography and the artists that created them, it's always a great pleasure to be able to chat with the artists about their work. It is always difficult to get a stand at this prestigious event so I was mightily pleased to be offered a stand this year. The last couple of months have been spent getting together my best work, printing and framing it and also preparing a new set of greetings cards from my favourite images. I look forward to the three day event from the 16th-18th August, a great opportunity to get to chat with people as they pass through and to get feedback on my work...maybe even sell a few things! it's a great event, come along if you can.
